中藥材一向深受港人歡迎，但如何在競爭激烈的零售市場中保持優勢？今期的專訪嘉賓 － 啟泰藥業(集團)有限公司總經理助理溫廣琪先生就認為，唯有做好嚴格的品質監控才是經營品牌的成功之道。
啟泰藥業成立于1991年，一直經營冬蟲夏草、優質燕窩、中藥飲片、滋補品、參茸海味等貴價藥材的零售與批發。溫氏憶述，集團由最初的單一零售店發展至今時今日擁有逾百門市分布于香港、大陸、澳門及臺灣，全憑管理層對保持產品質素的堅持和重視。時至今日，幾位集團主要管理人員仍會親自到國內及海外不同原產地進行實地考察及采購，以確保藥材質量。
此外，集團亦于國內自設兩間GMP廠房擁有一個以藥師為核心的專業質量監察部門進行原材料加工，務求每個工序均能按指定標準完成。他們亦重視員工培訓，鼓勵員工不斷增值，學習相關中藥專業知識，以協助顧客選購最合適的藥材，從而建立客戶對品牌的信任。
作為廠商會「會員事務發展小組」的成員，溫氏認為本會充滿活力，而且會員活動種類繁多，由工商貿易、以至消閑趣味也有。這些活動有效地為會員構建溝通平臺，增進彼此聯系和交流，除可擴闊人脈，更帶來不少商機，他期望未來本會的活動可更多元化，繼續為會員提供優質適時的服務。
Quality Chinese medicines are most sough-after in the Hong Kong market. In the interview, Mr. Simon Wan will share with us his successful story of building a brand by keeping a strict quality control in order to stay competitive in the markey.
Established in 1991, Kai Tai Chinese Medicine Co., Limited was a retailer and wholesaler of high-end Chinese medicines such as Chinese caterpillar fungus, high quality birds' nest, Chinese medicine decoction pieces, tonic medicines, ginseng and dry seafood. Starting from a small retail store, the company had expanded their footprint with establishing over a hundred retail stores in Hong Kong, the mainland China, Macau and Taiwan. The success lies in the pursuit of quality products. Even nowadays, the key management of the company will go to the country of origin, to source high quality products.
' + In addition, the Group has set up two GMP certified production plants in the mainland China to process the raw materials in accordance to the guidelines of a quality control department, led by a team of professional pharmacists. The company believes in staff training and development, encourage staff to keep abreast of the latest knowledge of Chinese medicines through continuous learning. Equipping themselves with professional knowledge, staff can advise clients in choosing the appropriate Chinese Medicines. This can help building the brand identity and customer loyalty. Being the committee member of Members' Affairs Development Committee, Simon thinks that CMA is an energetic association that provides a variety of activities for members, from business to leisure. Such activities provides an excellent communication platform for members to meet and make friends. Apart from enlarging the social network, the activities provide business opportunities as well.
